If you don't really like games, they'll hardly be games for you.
I'm pretty happy about the new releases, as of right now I'm a lot more interested in new indie stuff that in the AAA offerings. So, apart from the games GOG ignores or rejects, it works for me. And I also like short and to-the-point games more than infinite hours of boring gameplay and grinding.
If you like indie and don't like hours of boring gameplay, get a mobile phone, apple store and android is absolutely flooded with this stuff. I doubt even greenlight has that much.
Its the same old question of where GOG fits into the market, it used to promote itself as old games, then it dropped that and became just another store pushing the same games that you can get on humble or steam or one of the other stores but more expensive. In fact, your more likely to get Good Old Games on Steam than you are here now.
