I don't really care personally, it just makes sense to me.
But hey, if you want pessimism, GOG will die soon now that Steam is getting all GOG's classic releases because there's no reason to buy here on GOG anymore since publishers always put the GOG version of games up on Steam sooner or later and it's so much easier to have
all my games in one place and nobody wants indie and new games here because they're constantly lacking updates and patching is far too slow, and just look at the extremely poor income GOG made last quarter, and how little marketshare they've gained over their 9-ish year existance compared to Steam's 14-ish year existance. And we'll all cry ourselves to sleep at night because Steam will be a monopoly once again. :P
