I might consider paying that much, but given all the other Duke games have been pulled from GOG, how can we even consider this really happening?

The other Duke games were pulled from GOG because the rights were acquired by Gearbox. The same happened on Steam. Maybe Gearbox can be convinced to sell them here again.

They were pulled from Steam? So it wasn't a DRM thing. Maybe there is hope.
