I'm not really all that much into open world rpg games, bethesda style. I liked the first Gothic. One cthulhu rpg I'm eagerly waiting for, and I'm a backer of is Stygian. It's kind of old school, so it's probably not for you, though. And it's still far away.
Stygian looks very interesting. Do you know if they will have a DRM-free release as well at launch ?
It noticed it is being made Turkish developers, which is also interesting.

I'm very picky when it comes to the Lovecraft theme, I don't like the contemporary cartoon-like stuff, I want something like the books and stories I grew up reading, like Lovecraft, Derleth, Campbell etc. This game seems to follow the classics.

According to the devs themselves:

"We are avid GoG users ourselves and definitely want Stygian on that digital platform in addition to Steam."
Nothing new on the homepage at this hour so it will be a same-as-steam release(s)

Thank you, awesome.
hope for something decent ;)
I got a feeling that today's big release will be Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour.

They promised a drm-free version regardless of GOG, though. I only back kickstarter that promise drm-free versions, and I ignored several interesting ones because of that issue.
On the other hand, things can change over the course of the game's development. Including their ability to release it drm-free... because of publishers, for example. So you never know.
