Saddly RTS games seem to shun gog. We still don't have Cossacks 2 and standalone addon yet.

So no Cossack 3 on gog for the foresable future for those who don't know yet.

yeah, i checked the steam page for cossacks 3 and apparently one needs to create an entirely separate account with gsc to even play it.

Ah, so they included online drm with it. Damn, this means if the game comes here they need to rework it which will probably mean cut content (probably multiplayer - another Armello drm free edition).

I'm still waiting for GOG to get the SNK Neo Geo 25th Anniversary collection in their catalog!
I already have a crap-ton of those games via Humble Store (DRM-free Win/Mac/Linux), back when the entire collection was on sale for only $10. I feel that GOG is the proper place for such Great Old Games.

It's released today "on Steam". Actually, the game came up first on itch.io last year and was on beta (but it was already purchasable) till today. And next month, it will also be released on PS4 and XBone.

When it came out publicly, it gathered some hype in the indie circles. When I use the word "coverage", it doesn't mean "complete reviews with notes" ;) Some articles from those days:
