As for SCPM's list, I don't recall seeing any dates at all -- although I hope a number of those games come to GOG.

With regard to the May 17th date, that was probably on the other "true or false" list.

yes that was related to the other list. It was fallout 3 and skyrim for tomorrow if I remember correctly.

Crap, I thought that date was from SCPM's list too.
I'm sorry to say but I'd actually laugh if tomorrow there was absolutely nothing! Overhyping anything, especially when it comes to (doubtful) rumors is a bad thing to do.

P.S. I'm not really sorry. =P

As far as I know, SCPM's list doesn't include any release dates for potential upcoming releases.

Yep, I was getting it confused with the other list, the one which i'm really skeptical of being true.
And here's where somebody announces the fact that GOG were never going to release those various games after all, and were only using them as internal codenames for other releases! :-P

no, I don't think scpms list had any dates thought it seemed like a legitimate list of tentative releases including some API info etc

or placeholders for when, if ever, they do get them.

Marioface5: Has anyone else here noticed that GOG is kind of weird with how they handle hype? If they hype something up, nothing big will actually happen. But when they are going to release something huge, there's often little to no sign of it beforehand.
Not necessarily. I think when GOG has something that they know is going to be absolutely massive, and they know it's going to be a sure thing business-wise (barring very last-minute technical hiccups or legal/business issues), they can rev up the hype machine with the best of them. What comes to mind as an example was the exclusive System Shock 2 launch. I remember when you'd go to GOG and the first thing you'd see was SHODAN, staring you right in the face. Good times.

If they ever manage to get NOLF/NOLF 2, and if by some miracle they can work in a timed-exclusive release, I'd bet they'd hype that just as hard.
I can't help but notice that recently the discussion in "where the hell is..." threads starts a dozen or so hours before the standard release time. Patience you must have, my young Padawans ;) And in the mean time go on and play games you already have here, I'm sure there are some unfinished games in your collections ;)
Kid Flash put it best!

According to Steam, Shadwen should be coming out about 7 or 8 hours from now. I wonder if there will be any other releases.

The purpose of the thread has mostly changed though, into more of a speculation thread about what will arrive rather than what should have arrived. ;)
Whether the Bethesda RPG dump happens today or not, with regard to Bethesda, I'd be more hyped for Heretic/Hexen dropping.

Patience?! Release hype and lurking around here is the only thing I have right now - my gfx card left me on the weekend. Now I'm stuck with Terraria which runs fine on my ancient Intel HD3000 notebook. Not saying it's bad, but I already finished it three times...
