NuffCatnip: All these releases, what a time to be alive. :)

On a more serious note, I hope that fat fuck GabeN never dares to get near gog.

anothername: Ouch, thats a strong expression ;)

While I completly and adamantly disagree with how steam & similar has bullied its way into and is now present in the market I do think; on a personal level based on a few post I read from him over the years; he could be a cool drinking with while talk about shit guy. Maybe I just got the wrong/right posts; its not that I actively follow whatever he does or writes.
A tad too much? :)

He may be a cool dude, but some of the things he and his corporation pulled off are just despicable, they make sense, but that doens't make these actions less disgusting.

fronzelneekburm: Don't these games (Q3, Morrowind) cost the same as they do on Steam?
Yes.
avatar
fronzelneekburm: Then F3, New Vegas and Oblivion will be $19.99 here as well.
F3 and New Vegas sure. As for Oblivion it depends on whether we'll get the GOTY or GOTY Deluxe version with the latter costing $25.

Emob78: Oh no! Watch out for that truck! *smash*
Crap, I think Catnip is dead. Now he won't be able to live and play all of these amazing video games! What a tragedy. [..]
I'm sorry, I can't stop laughing. Morbid sense of humor over the idea of mourning blissful consumerism. I love it. I give it two thumbs up.

phaolo: ???
Ok, let me explain. I'll try and use a few short words.

Catnip said he was glad to be alive to be able to play these games. Very excited and exuberant sounding, right?

So... I made a joke about a truck hitting him as he rejoiced in his life and upbeat, positive outlook. Dark humor. Some call it 'gallows' humor.' Was intended to offset Catnip's wild enthusiasm with a dark spin towards tragedy and failure. A yin to the yang. Understand?

Now my forum fatigue has reached 11 and I must lie down. Will someone please take a look at the universal translator. I think it's broken.

Yeah, that's why I replied "???"
It makes no sense, nor it's funny.. but whatever you like.

So you understood, you just didn't think it was funny? You could have, you know, just not laughed.

And so my first heckler of the day has arrived. Congratulations, Phaolo. You're in good company.

viperfdl: If Morrowind is an indicator then I expect Oblivion, F3 and F:NV to cost somthing between 20 and 30 € and Skyrim: Legendary Edition above 30 €. So my interest for this games isn't very high.

Whats that, £14 for Oblivion, £14 for F3, and £14 for NV? Feck that, I have O and F3 on disc - DRM free other than Shivering Isles, will stick to those copies - to note, you can pick up the discs from Amazon for a penny each + P&P.

I would far rather see F3: NV and Skyrim appear here, as those I can't get a DRM free copy of, might even be a deal at £14 each - if they are complete (looking at you mister Dying Light).

But either way, after last weeks big Meh, I am not expecting much.

Your reply to NuffCatnip seemed more rude than entertaining.
He was happy and you started being negative for no reason.

I didn't know you were trying to be funny.
Sorry for ruining your (weird) number then?

At least the game catalog now uses a content delivery network, an indicator GOG might deploy more site changes today.

Crap, I think Catnip is dead. Now he won't be able to live and play all of these amazing video games! What a tragedy. Just think of all the characters that will go without buffs, the vaults un-looted, the dragons un-slain.

I'm sorry, I can't stop laughing. Morbid sense of humor over the idea of mourning blissful consumerism. I love it. I give it two thumbs up.
What a time to be dead!

Maybe gaming in the afterlife is a thing?

Well, if not, I'll just haunt this fucker and force him to play the games on gog that I couldn't play because he killed me. :P He'll play Dai-Katana for the rest of his life. >:)

It's okay, I have a sick sense of humour as well, so I don't mind. :D

Good grief, am I the only person on the planet who actually liked Daikatana?

I think it's an okay game, but since most people seem to dislike the game I think he'd dislike it too. :)
