omega64: I wonder why they were removed if so.

Maxvorstadt: As far as I know, the publisher changed, so GoG did have no longer the right to sell it here. Now Take 2 came to GoG and voila, the games are re-released.
Nice.
There are quite a few 2K games I'd rebuy.
Though none of them are old enough to be considered classics. :P
Perhaps some people would consider Bioshock a classic.
I just hope GOG won't release Bioshock 2 here considering how broken the Steam release is.
If Take Two intective is here... let's not forget about their adventure games!

Hell: A Cyberpunk Thriller (1994) - 3rd Person, Take Two
Bureau 13 (1995) - 3rd Person, Take Two
Jack The Ripper (1995) - 1st Person, Intergalactic Development / Gametek
Alien Incident (1996) - 3rd Person, Housemarque / Gametek
Ripper (1996) - 1st Person, Take Two
Black Dahlia (1998) - 1st Person, Take Two
It finally happened! The flood gates have opened!

I guess I'd consider Bioshock something of a more modern classic.

It was the other way around. We had Freedom Force vs the Third Reich. The original is new to GOG.

I did say some people. :P
Good, now we've managed to stop the "where are the old games" questions for at least two whole days :P

I've played the complete BioShock series a couple of times on Steam. Why's the BioShock 2 release broken?

(Would buy all of them on GOG instantly, of course.)

Where are the new games Judas, GOG's going in the wrong direction by only focusing on old games. :P

Sounds not playing, constant crashing with DX10.
Constant crashing on my PC even on DX9.
Other issues.

The last pc patch introduced many of those issues.
They eventually converted the game to Steamworks but used that last patch.

Thanks for reply. So I was very lucky with my playthroughs as it seems. :)

I'm probably in the minority. ;-)

But I do really like it. Bioshock 2 is also a really great game, unfairly put down as being too similar to the first when it actually greatly improves on many things.

True, if I could find a way to fix it I would replay it.
Might try my retail copy with GFWL at least it functions without crashing/ sound issues.

I am still going to annoy you about Strife.

You can do that without Strife.
