How does it compare to fate though because i got bored with fate pretty fast...

It's quite dynamic :D

You can have your vendors killed, the townspeople plot and try to kill and steal from each other (although you might not see them steal...), if you fail to complete quests like "Such-and-such monster is building a gate..." then the town you are trying to save gets invaded by demons who go on a rampage and kill townspeople and your vendors!!

If you get a quest to kill a named monster and you fail to do so, it becomes a boss monster with added HP and such :)

Monsters will build machines that will mess with your town so you get earthquakes and tornadoes...
