Arma 2: Combined Operations

O.o
Aaaaand all systems go. Today's release is here. Thanks for your patience!
There's now a banner up on the front page for Arma II: Combined Operations for 20% off, price $23.99.

DukeNukemForever: Dotemu released Majesty Gold HD today.

Fesin: That looks actually pretty awesome. Though the interface makes me think there's a LOT of micromanaging involved.

Is it good?
Quite good. It actually has less micromanaging than some RTSs. The main feature is that all your units use AI, you can't directly control them. So you have to set reward flags to get them to do stuff, but some classes will do things for cheaper: Rangers will explore for super cheap, Rogues will do everything cheap, Warriors prefer fighting, etc. Other than that it's very focused around maximizing your economy so you can keep your heroes well equipped and not dead. Very good game, and quite unique.
* disappointed *
Meh .

Good but not old... May be the next one ^^.
Anyway no excuse to avoid Day Z.

Barry_Woodward: Flashback: The Quest For Identity

F4LL0UT: I'd prefer Blackthorne (aka Blackhawk) over this one.
And I would like both of them ;)
avatar
DCT: Personally I'm pulling for Lode Runner, either Lode Runner+Lode Runner Championship or Lode Runner the legend continues.
avatar
EndlessKnight: I would love to play Lode Runner again. Had both the original PC Booter and The Legend Returns. Unfortunately, I have the Win 3.1 version of the later game so I can't run it on my newer computer. (Fortunately, I have a WinXP netbook kicking around for stuff like that.)
I just got Lode Runner Online: Mad Monk's Revenge working in Vista (32-bit).

The only problem is, like most Win95 games, the music plays only once then stops and does not loop. However, you can simply load up an external MP3 player, create a playlist, and loop the appropriate tracks in the background. I just did this with Jedi Knight and Mysteries of the Sith and it worked flawlessly.

LRO has all the content from The Legend Returns, and then some, and I believe it was made freeware.

You mean you didn't add it to your wishlist? That must be the first.

Sounds interesting, though I think I may wait till there's a discount. 10€ is a bit too expensive, I think.
But thank you nontheless.
