tfishell:
An interesting commentary of GOG's communication with developer's if they genuinely believe it was/is going to be released today/yesterday.

Or I could have misread his post.

tfishell: I am anticipating a relatively big release to go along with the conference news. "Z" still counts in my book, but something even higher up on the wishlist would be really cool, too. (Of course, if it isn't "Z", it would be pretty depressing for Steam to get it but not GOG...)
When I was writing for gaming websites and not boring old Oil and Gas (I sold out), the devs said on their forum that they had applied to GOG to begin the release process, but that was well over a year ago. I'm not sure that I can find the thread - or if it evens still exists but I'll have a look to link it if possible.

tburger: Concerning their hints about galaxies my bet is rather on X-Wing vs TIE Fighter ;-)

toxicTom: No, it's Koronis Rift. The Tandy Color version. The emulation of this machine is also the new technology they will announce.
I have that. Never got anywhere playing it though.

But you know... that would actually be pretty cool.
As per my above post, KAVCOM applied for a GOG distribution license some time ago.

It probably works more like a cooler instead of a refrigerator, and a cooler is much cheaper.

Edit: Never mind, that's what happen when I read Fark and GOG at the same time.

Crap, if LucasArts does show up here and the space combat sims come to GOG, I'm going to have to go out to the hardware store and buy some parts to build a flight sim gear mount I've been wanting to make for ages and then go full blown Star Wars nerd for months.
New release : The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Can't wait to see what emerges. ^_^

I'm with the folks who think the game announcement will be Homeworld. But that's also in part because I really hope it will be Homeworld, one of my top five "games I've bought and rebought most in my life".

Still, as exciting as that would be, I'm even more interested in what revelations shall issue forth.

Long ago I purchased a boxed copy of Aurora Watching (AKA: Soldier Elite - Zero Hour)

However inside the box I found the CD for Aurora and the CD-Key for (<i>[url=http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/homeworld_cataclysm]Cataclysm if I remember correctly.)

If Homeworld appears I may pick it up just to find out what that mysterious key was for. XD

Sadly I never did get Aurora Watching to work since it was missing the CD-Key. T_T

Oh well. ^_^

Time for Random Trivia!: -_^
Aurora Watching is apparently part of the same series as ōdi∙um (AKA: Gorky 17) which is already on GOG! O_O
So... Where is Thursday's new game???

I guess The Witcher 3 pre-order will be all we get this thursday.
Bummer! It's not even released yet.
Gog, I am disappoint.
