nightcraw1er.488: But we already have the only real Dragon Age game here already? Sure there is some dreadful copy paste, monster materialise shit some suit slapped the name on, but no one in their right mind would pay for that.
Inquisition is ok, if it’s cheap. It’s a single player mmo, so open areas, with nothing much to do but grind.
Ixamyakxim: Heh - I have the exact same opinion. I never played 2 because it was exactly what I thought would happen to poor Bioware after EA bought them (quickly farted out dumbed down, actiony sequel after sequel after sequel).
Like you I was less critical of Inquisition and figured the game was sort of "far enough away" from Dragon Age to maybe stand on its own. And it was fun for what it was.
I played 2, although briefly. It was terrible. Cut and paste locations. Cut and paste character models (from previous games), I.e. you meet Alastair in the first bit (yes he is called something else). Enemies pop into existence. There is no story. It’s just awful, and anyone wanting to pay money for it should really reassess their life.
Inquisition was better, still no story, empty mmo type world. Combat was better. Still wouldn’t be particularly interested in parting with any money for it.
