fortune_p_dawg: yeah, pretty boring this week.

Alright this comment got a chuckle out of me lol.

But yeah I'm disappointed we didn't get something special today. Two good sales going on but it's been like 2+ weeks since the last classic I think.
They should give us Dark Souls next week.
no game? :(
It'd also be cool to see a new developer next week. What if we finally got Spike Chunsoft on here? Get some of that Danganronpa and Steins;Gate Elite hotness, now that VNs aren't a no-no for GOG.

Or Mighty Switch Force Collection, which was supposed to be out a month ago.

Or Wargroove, finally.

Or more stuff from NIS, like Killer7 or Disgaea.

These are all attainable. In fact, I literally *know* they are, because I work with all of those developers and have at some point hinted that I'd want to see more stuff DRM-free, and they've told me as much.

fortune_p_dawg: jesus i know. they need to get that sooo bad.
Don't forget we got that shitty warcraft 2/3 rip off game this week Loria that a bunch of high school students could probably of done a better job working on in their spare time.

That would be amazing. They still have a decent backlog of classic games not released here and free of any game launcher and DRM chains although i think they probably forgot that GOG exists :). Cheers

Would be nice to see Mass Effect here. Surprised Ubisoft hasn't released any new games recently as they have been re releasing almost the entire Assassin's Creed series everywhere else.

I think it's getting more and more obvious that most AAA publishers are involved in the "the great DRM conspiracy", enforcing ever more subtle (and not so subtle) DRM on their game through online co-op gameplay, microtransactions and other "pay-to-win" tricks. It seems AAA gaming is getting closer and closer to mobile gaming. As someone who tried (and failed miserably) to get into mobile gaming I see this with sadness.

Good to know that plenty of indie publishers are still supporting DRM-free gaming, though. And GOG seems to be regarded as a good showcase for selling new indie games, with fresh ideas and original game concepts.
Okay, 3 pm and still no release? Meh...
where is it?
Random thursday big ass sale???
