I'd rather have another DLC. :P

I don't mean to be harsh but I have DNF on Steam. Every few months I redownload it and try it again and EVERY TIME it is SOOOO BAD I quit within five minutes. :P

You are not nearly harsh enough on that fucking disaster :p The game is an insult to every gamer but apparently Gearbox think Duke 3D is too good for us.

I mean wasn't the classic dukes removed back in 2015 and is still nowhere to be seen.

yeah, this'll likely be the case.

its references to orwellyness, political messages, and the knowing grins of the fawkes inspired masks... make me groan with... tiredness i guess. these days i find the half-baked political messages and the references to orwellian societies so incredibly tiresome. we happy few is one of those few games, where simply looking at the promo art makes me roll my eyes and saps my energy.

then again, i could be wrong and it could be brain poppingly amazing.

Me, too. I also have both. And played about 14 minutes each! I got them for a few euros, so it's not that big of a waste of money, but otherwise a waste of potential; DNF is the worst combination vaporware, crapware and NoImaginationWare™!

I assume you have EDuke for the original 3D? THAT is worth it's weight in Gold.

Yes, I played it first on floppy disks (eight of them if I recall correctly; or was it 13; hm!?), but those are gone. And yes I have them all (1+2+3D+ Atomic+MP) on GOG, from the better times before Galaxy and AAA games!
