Pond86: Forgive me but from what I understand the Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe (freeware) has the addon included.

Having just downloaded the free version and tried it on my Windows 10 system it works fine. So aside from a few tweaks (which the community has most likely made for free anyway.) (And btw the game runs fine at 1920x1080 as basic in the free Deluxe edition.) What is the point of GOG selling it?
We aren't selling the Deluxe Edition, we're selling the original version while including the Deluxe Edition as a bonus item.

I know your not selling the Deluxe Editon, and giving that as free. But from what I understand the only difference between the Deluxe version and the version your selling is that you've made a few tweaks.

And to me (yes i've never really been a fan) if you can get the game free anyway, and we know it runs fine from the free version under new operating systems and hardware, why would you pay for it?

(Btw 2, get as that doesnt work from my retail disc.)

Well you don't have to buy it of course... :) If the freeware version is good enough for you then that's ok. If people want to play the original version then GOG can help them out now! I'm a fan of original versions. I wish the original version of Monkey Island were here as well for example. I would buy it. :)

How about I make a pen and paper game about living as a normal human in a seemingly normal town. Oh but there's a catch - this town is a magnet for different types of 'infestation'. These can be zombies, aliens (think avp), mutations etc. In a zombie scenario for instance - patient zero will become infected on a randomly selected portion of the map using a series of dice rolls. Your characters will live out their jobs, whatever they may be, meanwhile all infection and action of the infection will be determined at the same time your days play out. Hell, if you're impossibly lucky, you can wipe out the infection before it reaches a second person.

It sounds like I'm joking, but that's how bored I've become with games... I used to make RPGs and stuff all the time in probably a week. Mostly sandbox open world stuff but that's the most exciting.

Anyway, that's Thursday's game.
