The notification is set if the user presses "reply" to one of your posts. Some users find it easier to press "reply" than "new post", especially if they are near the middle of the page.

That's pretty funny. Technically I cannot quote myself so I clicked "reply" to your post which was just below mine, decreased the quote number by one, pasted my post there and I thought I outsmarted the forum. It seems that I was outsmarted after all. I should have done it using "+ new post" then you wouldn't have been notified. Sorry for that but perhaps you can treat it as a sign from heaven and vote for the game ;)
