Nordic Games didnt buy the SR franchise but acquired the Red Faction and Summoner franchises.
The SR franchise and Volition is part of Koch Media/ Deep Silver.

I still think chances are pretty high that more SR titles will show up sooner or later. :)

Oh, and I hope we´ll see a new Summoner game soon. :D

single-player survival video game WOW havn't seen that before, although this one does look good. Good to see another game coming to gog anyway.

Awwww, I was hoping for sooner rather than later :)
Especially since it has such a deep discount on Steam right now it would be the perfect time to release it here.

'yet another [insert genre here] game' sounds pretty silly. It hardly looks typical beside the recent games in the genre.

That looks VERY interesting. Even more so since that screen gives hope to switch to third person: http://www.thesolusproject.com/screenshots/tsp_screen21.jpg

Will it offer any basic (or advanced :D) character generation?

Edit: according to the developer-vid not open world but traditional linear split in 10 levels. Sounds it will be a bit like the Cube Project mod for Fallout 3.
