Tauto: cunning kit.

Kleetus: Does that kit contain latex and lubrication by any chance?
Don't use either as I'm all natural.
Seems like Planetarch Trump's associates (Rohrabacher) were absolutely correct (again!), in past statements of theirs... "..."!

Lately (today/yesterday, that is...), events are set in motion over "Macedonia" that don't look too well... Oh, well. What did someone expect from the usurping of other nation's history, legacy, or worse, even land-names?

In Donald (and associates) we trust! Absolutely the single best Planetarch and President that ever graced the States.

Got a little bit of my self confidence back today.
The past 5 or 6 weeks have been at least as crappy as I thought they'd be. Worked 40+ days straight averaging over 10 hours per day. This installation was a big of a pain as I thought it would be. Over that 40+ day stretch I've been home for about 4 days total, and those were spent working to catch up on paperwork and other business stuff. The machine installation went over the schedule by two weeks and I've had to scramble to reschedule everyone else. Getting farther and farther behind on the things I need to do at home.

But... even though the installation has gone poorly, the customer has treated us really well. Honestly, better than we had any right to expect, given the circumstances. Got to work from the start 'til today with a young guy from the US branch, who has been really great to work with and eager to learn. The programmer from the European factory has also been fantastic, fixing a boatload of software problems even though he's quite new to the job. It's not quite finished and I'm having to pull out of the project to take care of prior commitments that I could not reschedule, but thanks to their efforts things are definitely looking up. Hope to have it wrapped up by next Friday. In the end, people can make or break a project that is causing difficulties.

On top of that, in my absence the wife has been doing her best to deal with things back home, and our neighbor even took care of mowing the property. We owe him a favor for that one.

Oh, and there's a good chance I'll bump into an old friend and colleague next week, who will be in the same area as me for a day or two.

In the process of moving I came across some good old friends. If only I still had all of the accessories :P

While doing going to the corner store I noticed that a neighbor had left an old CRT television on the side of the road, when I came back it was still there. On the minus side it had rained since they left it there.

I picked it up once I left my purchases at home (I'm a pedestrian) and brought it in for closer examination. It's a 1997 RCA, stereo thank you very much. It has no output and only one input: the coaxial jack for the cable. They cut the cable instead of unscrewing it which lead me to the reason why they disposed of it: The coaxial jack turns freely, it's broken inside. There is also the fact that it's 20 years old and the cable company has gone all digital.

If I really needed a TV I'd open it up now and would blow air everywhere rainwater might have gotten before letting it dry 24 hours. As it is it might be nice to be able to use it as a monitor for an old 8 bit computer but I'm not willing to put much effort in making that happen.

So tomorrow I'll open it up and take stock of its situation, depending on my decision it might go back on the side on the road Tuesday morning, garbage day. I am probably going to remove some parts if I choose to dispose of it.
Higher speed (4x what I had which was enough for 1080x1920 video) + more bandwidth ("infinite") = cheaper internet.
I got rid of cable tv which I never watch, my audio visual needs are met by Youtube and Netflix.
This panel from an article/comic on the Oatmeal. I haven't reread the story since I first found it a couple months ago, but every once in a while, I find that one image, and it always makes me laugh. (Inwardly, of course. None of this raucous, uncouth voiced laughter for me. :P )

I really enjoyed it! I liked it a lot but I am deep into comics so that is no surprise. I have my criticism of some parts but you can't say it's not an awesome movie!
What I love the most about these movies is that you can bring the comics closer to your family and friends that are not as much into it. Kind of when you want people to like a game you love but its so old that you can't just bring it casually and make it work.

Thanks for the reply. I liked the first movie so I just wanted to make sure that they put effort into this one too and it wasn't just a quick cash grab.
