I'll probably feel horrible anxiety about it tomorrow and I may have damaged my hearing permanently (I'm already half deaf) - but for now I'm, if not happy, pretty OK.

I'm envious, would love to experience them live. Why the anxiety, because of the dark themes they usually use? And: earplugs ;)

Nah, just social anxiety. I did try earplugs for a while, but everything got so muffled it kind of defeats the purpose of going to a concert - though Perturbator was so bass heavy they wouldn't have made much of a difference. Luckily my hearing seems to be just as bad as it was before.

Great you are going out despite of it then. Yeah, not fond of the regular plugs either that just dampen everything. The ones some musicians use when playing live, that are custom-built to fit your particular anatomy and spectrum needs must be nice. An investment though I guess.
