Home by myself for the entire Thanksgiving weekend. I deal with massive noises daily so I will savor this.

What sort of noises?

3 noisy kids, 1 noisy tv, 1 noisy political radio, 1 noisy neighbor that mow her lawn twice a week even when it's raining, 1 noisy small fair 0.5km away that opens during holidays, and 1 noisy motorcycle asshole neighbor couple blocks away.

Holy shit I would hate that, I thought people went to Florida to retire and live a quiet life.

I think people go to Florida to get scammed. This entire state runs on scam, in all aspects of businesses. You think you get good foods here, but there are many sea foods fraud in Florida as well (it's pervasive throughout US but particularly here).

There are two jobs that sustain people here, real estate and landscaping (a euphemism for mowing grass), and maybe nails salon. That's like most of the workforce, without that people would be jobless. Mexican does most of the actual work really. If you deport them all I would say the roads would breakdown in less than a week and no one to clean the corporate toilets.

The average American consider Florida to be the asshole of the US. Trump should build a wall to shield it off from the rest of the country.

For me, I grow my own tomatoes because there are still slave labor for tomato picking in Florida, where the illegals get sprayed on while they do it. You can drive on the highway and see them in the buses that pass by.
