Both my girlfriend and I had our day off today. Both of us had some important stuff to do but every hour or two I'd go to the living room, get her away from her master's thesis (to which she is adding the final touches) and we'd eat together, watch some Netflix or play something in coop. The day was remarkably unremarkable but there was that weird rhythm to it that made the time spent together just feel really great for both of us.
