Wearing my Halloween costume. It's not raining or windy, so I don't have to cover my costume with a jacket *and* I can even wear a witch's hat.

Been busy all weekend but getting a lot done. Would like to have a weekend to sit on my hiney doing not much at all, but that's going to have to wait til winter.

Badgers squeaked out a tough win last night and we had some great pizza while listening to the game.

Slow 'net means it's taking about a full day to download Dead Space, but at least it IS downloading. Started at 5:44pm last night; should go past that no problem since there was 2.5GB to go at noon today. Maybe by midnight? Can't play anyway til the new laptop gets here, so there's time. Haha

It's amazing how water brings life, I used to leave containers of water in my yard when I was into aquariums.

Within a few days and once the chlorine has dissipated, the water would be full of critters and insect larvae that I would feed to my fish.

After a while, each container was like an ecosystem with so much life.

Never got froggies though.

Today was a very cold day with hissing wind. I dressed like in summer (short sleeved shirt etc) and went out, walking casually for a few hours. Started to actively work on my endurance and all, fortifying and bolstering myself and stuff. I even returned to doing cold showers with ice cold water. Somehow, i remembered my days in the army, at the center we didn't have heat, not even during the heart of the winter... Oh, i love cold weather, thanks to a special someone who made me hate summer, the sea and the heat. Cold sustains me and keeps me happy, i love cold, i adore snow and honestly, i can't wait for it, or for winter to finally arrive!

Download had a burst of "speed" the last couple hours. Sorta of like a snail going downhill on sand. Finished 12 minutes shy of 24 hours for 8.13GB.

That does kind of sucks, but probably leads to more selective of the contents you want to consume and maybe more enjoyment. My Deus Ex - Mankind Divine download was 60gb, I'm not sure I even want to play it.

I feel your pain, I'm on 8 Mbps and 150 GB allowance per month and then it gets shaped to an abysmal 264 Kbps.

I just ordered a monitor that have blue light filter and direct current LED to reduce flickers. This will allow me to stare at the screen longer without going blind, maybe. Don't think I can get my work to get me one too though.

I think you'll find it's not actually the monitor that makes you go blind but chronic masturbation.

At least that's been my experience.
