Catventurer: If you read (not just watched) Game of Thrones, he's like Cersei Lannister - going around getting offended and angry over all sorts of threats and offenses, most of which existed only in her own mind. This cat acts like he has exactly that type of thinking and will get violent over the slightest thing.
Time to take their social media away ;)
Not having to work today - because it's a public holiday in Germany.

It's also Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year, so religious Jews take the day off (spending it in synagogue), and in areas with significant Jewish populations, school/work may actually close.

In any case, happy 5785, for anyone who happens to observe it!
I've been playing badminton again after a long time not doing it. And today I've just purchased a portable badminton net for me to practice my hits and to play with my friends who also enjoy the sport.
My dearest buddy was in town and we spent a fun weekend with two mutual acquaintances of ours. We inaugurated our reunion with a bottle of Prosecco and spent the last three days strolling about town in chilly weather, shopping, pub crawling, museum-ing, dining out and being absolutely silly. :)
I am slowly chipping away at my backlog. Finished Phantasmagoria yesterday, and am now trying to figure what to tackle next. It's nice to actually see games completed that i've held in backlog for so long.
I take a shortcut through an alley on my way to work and also, on my way home for lunch. Often, I'd cross paths with a blind tuxedo cat and this cat with no eyes would fascinate me so much. I'd watch it play with the other cats and attempt to hunt for birds too. Upon hearing me, this cat would run and hide. For weeks, when I'd spot him, I'd stop in my tracks for a moment (he knew exactly where I was standing!) and I would speak to him softly for a brief moment, just to let him know who I am. And today, just moments ago, on my way home for lunch, when I stopped in my tracks and spoke to him, tuxedo cat came running towards me and I let him approach me first and he rubbed his face against my hand and ankles. I was so happy to have finally earned his trust! :D

Wait, is it a cat that can't see out of it's eyes or a cat with no eyeballs at all? If the latter, i'd find that a bit creepy...like it's some sorta ghost cat that haunts the place o.0 :D Silliness aside, that story was very nice to read(I also have a tuxedo cat myself, albeit it isn't blind) :)
It's a gorgeous, sunny Autumn day here! Loving the colourful sight of fallen leaves and also the smells of Fall, like that of burning wood and decaying foliage. :)

It took two or three encounters before I realized that tuxedo cat had no eyes, as there was nothing immediately apparent about its behavoir to let me know that it was a blind cat! It has a collar, so I know that it has a home. But, its busy social life is happening in that alley. A remarkable kitty!
