You can't really fold these boxes, without
(at least) cutting them into the corners.
And if I had done that, some
(not really reparable) damage would have been done, anyway.
So, doing it my way, was way more effective
(especially from a "space saving" standing point).
I know how Euro boxes/big box releases are constructed, I still have several of them in my collection. A couple I do keep stored folded. Yes, some have an inner, sturdier box in addition to the outer, thinner shell. I believe I always found both of these foldable, the inner ones required some quick, easy disassembly in a few cases. They do fold into a somewhat awkward shape though, with the flaps of the boxes sticking every which way.
