xSinghx: There are a few characters that inhabit the role of the guard and they each deal with that authority in different ways. Obedience to authority is not simply an excuse for all of them though (as it is for one).
There was one person who simply shut the caller and end the charade, it was different, I gladly acknowledge this. All others (not mentioning the victim) who engaged in the process were just parts of the same cruel soulless mechanism.
xSinghx: Well what's entertaining to each of us is obviously subjective, but regardless some times there are more important things than entertainment value alone.
I agree completely. Never meant to be objective, heard this term was created by a subjective thinking human being. Heard also that normality and truth are not stable and can be turned upside down several times during development of society.
There are more important things than entertainment of course, that is the reason why I specifically mentioned that to me personally this movie was not good in terms of new experience.
Just two examples:
1. I was advised to watch a movie The Girl Next Door (2007). It was very discomforting experience. When I asked a person who recommended it what is the purpose of this movie, the person responded that it teaches us a good lesson of what might happen to a girl. I was highly discouraged by that reply.
2. Another person recommended me movie Martyrs (2008). It was painful to watch, it has no meaning to me other than violence for more violence. I asked what was the purpose of that movie and got a reply "have you seen the ending?", yeah but there was no closure, no answers to a whole lot questions, just another meaningless death.
The movie we've discussed has similarities, I see a girl being tortured all for nothing. I don't like such movies, I can't take from them anything good, they are not productive. That just me, I have an odd taste I know.
