I'm reading one of his books, Carsick. It's pretty entertaining.

Probably should have picked a more random and nondescript shot, but then again that'd be quite the feat considering the omnipresent explicitness oozing from almost every single frame.
Does help that the characters and the things they do on screen are quite... memorable and stick with you for years, even decades, too. Definitely one of a kind, that one.
