Yes: possibly the first 'found footage' movie - long before Blair Witch (although I think that one could argue that the Star Trek episode "The Menagerie" from 1966 was the first found footage show - but that's TV, not movies).

Another unique aspect of the movie is that probably it's simultaneously better than and worse than you've heard.

I picked up the 2 disc special edition for my birthday back in January, Good stuff! :D The 2nd disc has a nice piece about the trial and everyone showing up to confirm they weren't dead. XD

I had seen the trilogy recently, plus that brigde is a bit of an Australian landmark as you can see them blow it up each time with new year.

Ok, something learned. Had I known that bridge was that iconic I would have made a different screenshot. But if you've seen the trilogy only recently you probably would have guessed it anyway.
I think that's Jeremy Irons in "Kafka". I actually wanted to see this movie.
