Cenccu: I have played the game outside in real life, but can't remember what it was called...

Telika: Calvinball.
That's not the name of the game I meant . Keep trying
maybe "Hide & Seek"? Gameplay looks like a game that is such called :)
Red Rover?
It's really stupid, but I just thought about this.
This thread would be a fun, but ineffective, way to promote your new game if you were a very indie developer/

"Guess this screenshot"

"Another one"

"Nobody? They're from my new game Martian Tentacle Simulator available now for only $2.99 on my website!"

Like I said, stupid.
Also, I have no idea what that game is. I get the feeling I know and it's somewhere in the back of my mind.. but I just can't capture it, it keeps slipping away.

The game wouldn't happen to be just called "Capture the Flag" would it? I remember playing something looking a lot like that.

Yes, Capture the Flag. I had some vague recollection of playing this long ago.
I was thinking about an another game and I believe there is a computer version of that also... hmm...
I guess I'll challenge with this then (unless of course my guess was all wrong)

Damn. I can't remember the name but I loved it, particularly the way you made repairs to your circuits to heal damage, that was a fun way of doing it.

as you said repairs, posting another image since I just tried to lookup the game on google and I didn't find it. Image of the repairs and also of one of the more interesting features I thought were in the game.

Seems like only one image was attached last time.
The feature I found interesting was how you between each level could decide on what kind of insurance you wanted for the level, thus saving money as long as you didn't go get yourself killed.

Still nothing?
On the collection I have which contains the game, the game is listed as being developed by Junkyard.

Another image then. In the game it is possible to bet on how well you'll do in the next level. Actually betting on your own performance is something I haven't seen in any other games. Bet On Soldier supposedly had some betting to do, but no clue how that was implemented in an FPS

Universal Warrior / The Machines ^_^.. was one of my favorites back in the day.

Quite right. Didn't know the Universal Warrior title though :-) And I never got that far. Time I got the furthest I invested in a rather floaty hover unit instead of drive unit...and then I got to the levels which were mostly holes in the floor.

Your turn to come up with a game.

Yeah, the hover engines were quite memorable ^_^

Ok, let's try this one.

[edit]

Since it isn't going too well, here's a metahint: there's a numerical hint in the screenshot.

[edit of edit]

What else is there..
- the title consists of two words;
- the second word represents an object that can be seen in the image;
- it's not on Mobygames as far as I know.

That's probably as specific as I can get without giving away the answer.
