I think I played this game but I'm not sure since there were a lot of games like that in 80s: just keep flying from left to right and wreak havoc.

A little hint, perhaps?

Ghorpm: A little hint, perhaps?
Not sure how many of these would help...
The game made use of the voice synthesizer if the system had one connected.
The game is older than Chernobyl.
The system the game run on had a 16-bit processor.

Parsec!

The first hint did it. How could I ever forget "Nice flying". I don't know why but it always frustrated me soooo much!

Ghorpm: Parsec!
Correct! Until recently, I had both the cartridge and the TI, but gave them to a friend of mine who collects old computers. Checked them, and they both are still in working order, ~30 years later...

I still have working C64 with this famous greenish monitor and I play some games on it from time to time :D

As for the game: I used to play it with my brother and once we reached 107 level (the only way to finish this game is... to die)

Of course!

And check out the attachment! I found it while searching for a screenshot.

"Make love not WOR"

It just made my day. Heh... Now I should send it to my brother

"Make love not WOR"
*chuckles* That is really cute.

Anyway, on to the next screenshot. I'm sure someone would be able to turn the last few panels into a good exploitable image macro (simply remove the text and replace it with your own in the speech bubbles)

There was game "Stop the express" that would somehow fit to this story but I've never seen the screen that you posted. And it looks too modern for a game I'm talking about. A remake perhaps? If not (most probably) I haven't a clue
