Basically it combines spaceship travelling with FPS. You have a ship with a lot of customisation options. You fly through systems hunting enemies, fighting them either in ship mode (different maneuvers, electronic warfare, weapons) or FPS mode, teleporting onboard and taking care of its crew personally (main char has psionic abilities and other fancy weapons, again, lots of upgrades to find/apply). There is a risk, the enemy will do the same to you.

That's what I remember, anyway. Wouldn't mind seeing this game here on GOG, that's for sure ;).
