Yeah the Rook Island boxes steered me towards Far Cry series as that is the island on FC3 and then seeing the crucified person takes you to FC5 given it's about a religious cult (I don't recall seeing the crucified person on my play through). Mind you once you have bought a helicopter with weapons you don't need to drive anywhere and it really opens up the game.
