Would like to make a more unique screens, but I wasn't able to run it since XP days. Tried it on my old PC with Win7 and still trying it from time to time on a new one with Win10, but have no luck so far. Can't say it was a masterpiece, but it have great atmosphere and it's quite nostalgic — it's a shame that IP owners didn't tried to re-release it or to sell the series.

Nope, but it's not so far

No ones got this yet, I've found it but don't want another turn, its on plenty of abandware sites. I found by noticing its HUD on a screen shot, name was in cyrillic but copy and paste it into several abandware sites and it came up each time. I don't believe it was ever released in English (or outside the CIS as the OP said) Russian dev and publisher (I think), and its a bit newer then any of the guess so far.

It was planned to release outside CIS — it have an official English title. But, yeah, I'm note sure if it's translation were 100% completed or not.

GoldenLand 2: Cold Heaven | Златогорье 2: Холодные небеса

It's a stand-alone add-on for GoldenLand 2, the first part known in the West as Heath - The Unchosen Path. The third one was also in the works, but, sadly, it was cancelled.

While it's low-budget, flawed and outdated the series is actually pretty interesting and memorable (especially the second part and Cold Heaven add-on). It's an old-school isometric RPG with turn-based combat. It's based on Slavic folklore and has a great atmosphere. And it's abandonware that's really difficult to run on modern systems even with fan fixes.
