I wouldn't call it a RPG. More of a tactical deck-building game. Maybe comparable to Slay the Spire.

Hmm, game's on my Steam wishlist.

I can really recommend Card Quest. I didn't expect much when I started playing, but by now I spent more than 40 hours with that game. Still have to complete one campaign and unlock a lot of stuff for two of the classes.

I somehow never understood the allure of the CCGs. Tried the Russian-produced Etherlords once.
Plus, Card Quest is Windoze (and Mac) only, I tend to play only Linux native newer games.
Looks sort of fun (and stylish) on the screenshots though.

In the meanwhile I'll start plotting for my next move... bwhahahaha.
