osm: Isn't it supposed to be uncropped non-CGI shots?
Mostly it is then people got more and more extreme.

osm: (...) whats important it makes the game more fun for the poster challenging them to be sly rather then crop everything out and be content with that
Hello osm!

I do understand and actually agree with the point(s) you have raised, especially on the fun-part regarding not just guessing but also finding and creating a suitable image in the first place.
Sometimes, I prepare multiple screenshots in advanced which would reveal the game step by step. In my most recent attempt (the game was "Trespasser") it was guessed 'too early' before I could make use of the other images. Other times, I appreciate the challenge of researching without google in order to identify a game someone else has posted of.

However, it is still a "game". Others might find more fun in guessing fast or in how long they can obfuscate the game. So, let them...

If someone's screenshot is cropped too much, we can comment on it. And Lone_Scout already offered to upload an original uncropped screenshot in a few days.

Just my few cents on the matter.

Kind regards,
foxgog

I don't think its a big deal. If no one guesses the first clue then give another easier clue the next day. or something like that.

Exactly. Sometimes it's too easy to guess when a full uncropped gameplay screenshot is posted. Showing bits and pieces allows even well known games to be used without them being guessed immediately.
An actual guess, King of Dragon Pass.

It's not King of Dragon Pass, sorry.

I confess osm has quite a good point. The game is much better if we try to take interesting screenshots rather than cropping regular ones. So I'll try not to be so lazy in the future and do as he suggested...
Anyway, I take it as an advice, not a rule.

Enough debating. Let's keep on posting and guessing. :)

With the original pics you might have it much easier now.

Not sure what the game is but I'm guessing it may be something based on the King Arthur legend.

Sorry, just found it trawling steam and thought you were the current game master, didn't realise you had just guessed it.

It is indeed Sword Legacy: Omen, a better game than what its looks and advertising might suggest.

Your turn, sir
