MobiusArcher: Is that Myth?
Nope, it isn't. Sorry.
That face looks really familiar, but I can't think of where it is from ... it looks very D&D.

Icewind Dale?

Icewind Dale?
Nope. Not Icewind Dale.

Maybe some UI elements might ring a bell for you... Another pic.

Isn't it supposed to be uncropped non-CGI shots?

It's supposed to be whatever the person whose turn it is decides to post.

thus it's supposed to be a shit game then? I object.

No, it isn't. As long as it's a screenshot from the game. Cropping the image or editing it a little bit so that it is not so easily recognisable (or at least googleable) is not such an unusual practice.

There's the problem - how big the little bit can go up to? Why not just post a single pixel then?

Here's where *I'm* coming from - it has to be fun both to post a riddle and to guess. If we allow doctoring the image (why only crop? why not change the palette or black out half an image in a checkered pattern?), it TAKES OUT THE FUN of POSTING the image. For example, on my previous post the game I was going to post turned out to be too recognizable straight away for google, presumably due to a distinctive UI, which is unhidable by normal means. So what did I do? I've turned to another game altogether. But I could've easily just crop out the sidebar which was giving it all away. It's not the q of harder vs easier it's about to having fun to find a screenshot that is both "natural" AND hard to guess.

No need to get too upset on this. We all know how to play and try to do it as fair as possible.
The screenshots have been cropped so that they can be recognised by someone who has played this game, but still without giving too much info. If no one solves it this weekend, I'll drop the original uncropped screenshots here :)

Who's upset?

For the record I harbour absolutely no gripe whatsoever to your choice here Sir.

And let me stipulate it again since your post sadly shows ppl could still be missing the point I've raised (even tho I tried to put quite literally an emphasis on it) - it's not about the added difficulty put upon the guessers. In a way I'm o about the opposite thing - its no fun taking something easily recognisable and making it less so by outside meddling. Why not come up with a game and a shot of this game that is fun to guess/search for on its own? It makes the game better. Not harder/easier. And whats important it makes the game more fun for the poster challenging them to be sly rather then crop everything out and be content with that
