The ship design looks quite a lot like Armalyte's, though nothing else does. Maybe some little known version of that game?

Not Armalyte or a variation either. On this game you can get out your ship and destroy ground targets on foot.

It is not listed on Moby Games but you will find it on both Hall of Light and also Lemon Amiga

It ran on both OCS and ECS machines (A500 & A600 with Kick 1.3 & 2)

My clue about the Police having to break into your house in a previous post. It is known as Gain Forced Entry so putting the 2 first words together you have the name of the game
