Austrobogulator: Okay, next one:
It's the HItchiker's Guide to the Galaxy text adventure game, as hosted by BBC.
Mhmm. Your go!
Allright, here goes:

(feel free to ask for hints if you need them)

I don't want to get this thread stuck, so here's another, more indicative this time, screenshot (also the name of the image -though the final letter was cut- is somewhat of a hint too):

Is it Streets of Rage or Double Dragons. Alright last random shot in the dark guess River City Ransom: Underground?

Edit: should have double checked before posting my previous guess. That's in fact The friends of Ringo Ishikawa.

It's none of the above. But the gameplay of the fighting part of this game has this feel to it (not that I've played RCR, but I've seen the fighting part of this game being compared to that, which is what the 'somewhat of a hint' part implied). Hope I haven't made it too easy now (it's pretty hard to achieve the balance between making the guess easy or hard).

Yeah, found it based on that hint, by going into RCR:U steam page and scrolling through "More Like This" (most of which admittedly were nothing like that at all):

Correct! I played this game myself fairly recently (bought it when it was released here on GOG) and while it's been largely promoted as a fighting game (even GOG themselves did so), there are also a lot of non-fighting activities - I would have posted a screenshot of one of them too if it still wasn't found. I liked this game a lot (it had a great vibe, and the music is really good, as it was originally from Creative Commons Artists in e.g. Jamendo - I was introduced to a couple new to me music artists that way), and would like for the other game from the same dev (Arrest of a stone Buddha) to also come to GOG.

Your turn.

P.S. Oh, just saw that thraxman ended up editing his reply to the correct one, so now I'm not sure whose turn it is. The timestamp on thraxman's edit shows it was 15 hours ago, and kalirion's reply was 10 hours ago, but I don't know if kalirion saw thraxman's edit (I myself didn't initially) and it's not clear to me if edits are allowed in terms of guesses. I'd guess not, because it'd be as if making a new guess. I guess I'll keep it being kalirion's turn unless edits are in fact allowed in guesses.
