A clue I think is needed now given no guesses in a few days, the game was originally a console exclusive 2008 when it came out for PS3 & XBox 360, it did get a PC release finally during 2012

The chamber was quite recognizable, but I was surprised that it was not taken from an old Power Rangers game, but a new, "remastered" edition.

After further research - this particular costume appears to be part of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. Technically both answers should be correct I think.

Yes, the costume appeared in Super Street Fighter IV, but since it was also available later iterations like the Arcade Edition and the Ultra one, all of them are correct answers.
The first picture was from a cutscene to make the puzzle a bit harder. The normal fighter scene would have been too obvius...
