PaterAlf: One of my favourite games when I was a kid:
I know that as Oil Imperium for the Amiga but believe it had a few names. I remember having to lay the pipes across the screen to stop rivals and drilling at the right speed or the bit would snap.

Yes, Oil Imperium it is. Played it a lot on my C64.

PaterAlf: Yes, Oil Imperium it is. Played it a lot on my C64.
I never had the C64 version but did have it on the Amiga. Only strategy game I have on C64 which i bought back in the day was Sim City! Thinking about it, I just had to go look on Lemon 64 as I didn't know it actually existed!
