That's exactly as much as I remember about this game. Back in 1996 I wasn't smart enough to complete more than few first levels.

I'll post a new riddle in the evening :)

Armies of Exigo?

Thank you for bringing up this game. As a child I only valued the chariot race, the gladiator show and the occasional battles in the game, not knowing it was a strategy game with the goal of conquering every areas on the map. I still remember going to the right side of the track and then winning the race by going full speed in the turns. :)
And what was more surprising: this game is really the origin of the Total War series. It is crazy how developers reutilize the older game concepts.

Funny how I totally forgotten this game for last decade or even longer. I've also been playing it as a kid and I loved every bit of it, even I haven't understood win conditions and such. One of my first strategy games.

While searching for a game for this thread I don't know why, just out of the blue, I typed '' in MobyGames searchbar and [url=http://1.media.dorkly.cvcdn.com/50/27/0d41808f60af8871fa122b3b0f37ab1b.gif]PUFF - so many memories came back! Wonderful :)
Be sure to vote for it on the wishlist! :)

Yup, it's. A nice little p&c adventure if you ask me. Perhaps nothing special but solid enough and funny here and there...

I agree. It was nothing out of the ordinary, but IMO it captured the spirit of the good old Lucasarts adventures. I played it a long time ago, but I think I needed a walkthrough to beat it... :\

EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to post a (cropped) screenshot for the next game!
