edit: have to say I'm relieved - I thought I was being a bit unfair with this one
I wasn't sure, but I never finished the AGI Police Quest because I couldn't beat that damn poker game, so it might have burned itself into my memory.

Fever_Discordia: Ah, there we go, I knew it was SOMETHING based on Sierra's early engine (I know that Oregon Trail isn't a Sierra game too, BTW)
Yeah, I thought of removing the < at the bottom of the screenshot, but reckoned that would have made it totally unfair :)

I recently replayed the game in one sitting, with only referring to a walkthrough twice! However, I had to abuse savegames to get past the poker game. I think it probably is possible to beat it without saving by paying attention when someone bets high. It didn't appear as if they ever bluffed, or ever fell for bluffs for that matter.

Now I have to try to play it again. I haven't played through it in almost 10 years since I lost my "4 Most Wanted" collection CD, but I picked it back up on GOG so I'll give it another shot.
