samuraigaiden: Right now I'm playing Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason, one of the first games I bought here on GOG. I'm still early in the game. I'm deliberately using Shader 4.0 and Nvidia Physx enabled, makes the game run like garbage at times but it looks very cool.
Recall the game, for sure.

Can't recall on a certain feature being able to turned on or off.
Can you disable NVidia PhysX on Cryostasis?

Yes. Game still runs like garbage though. Very poorly optimized.

Domingoes: I got the Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary on Steam when it was free
When was it free? Unless you're talking about getting it as a pre-order bonus or a temporarily free weekend situation.

Yeah, I'm wondering when SF: 30th was free too!
Also, while I'm at it: I'd love to see that come to GOG, with the DRM-FREE treatment and all.

I really wish SSF2: Turbo got updated, as the difficulty is bugged like the old arcade version that no matter the difficulty, it's on its highest level of difficulty.

Cool collection though, for sure. Lots of fun. Used to love a lot of these games in the arcades and on the older consoles (Genesis and PSX).

Of course you can. In fact, it's only possible to use it under Shader 4.0. If you choose the less buggy Shader 2.0 or 3.0 options, PhysX can't be enabled.

teceem: Not exactly "playing" the game itself....
I was just watching a new trailer of Mortal Kombat 11 with their latest characters: Terminator / Robocop.
I'd love to try that out! I'm just going to wait until I can buy some 2€ key for the whole package somewhere. (because: DRM & the fact that I actually rarely play those kind of games)
Just watched that... and fortunately Robocop is the 80s version, not the new 2010s version.

There is still hope for the world if kids of today will recognize Robocop by the original character, not by the new movie.

Really sucks that I did not snag it while I had the chance, now you cannot get a legal copy of the game anymore!
I'm playing through witcher 3...

Specifically, at this moment, I am killing another clone in Battlefront 2, I feel the force in the air and I think I understand exactly that these are not the droids.
Phantasy Star 3.

Just started the 3rd generation on the Generation Skip route. Battles are quite difficult at first, as I only have one character who is at the level of power the game is expecting at this point. (Mieu and Wren didn't get any level ups during Generation 2, so they're still at end-of-generation-1 stats, while Kara starts with level 1 stats, so that leaves Aron as the only character who is at an appropriate level.)

Actually, I did win a battle and get a bunch of level ups; I think it even took Kara into the double digits, so things should get easier now. Also, having free revives is good, and I should soon be able to get free heals.
Playing Full Throttle Remastered.

It was always unoptimized advertisement to propagate Physx, it was a pity, because idea and sceneries of this game looks promising.

physics is still a bit of a weird creature right up untill today..... im playing through control and mechwarrior today and both have make use of the physics engine, it is very cool in mechwarrior to see how your shots react when hitting buildings and such though, at least on my system it is hard to differentiate between lasers and cannon rounds and in control it is a sometimes pretty weird combination with again the structural integrity of the building is absolutely amazing done, the concrete the iron bars that support the concrete that become visible from impacts of objects such as rockets though again the game does not seem to differentiate between the materials that come in contact at some points to the complete destruction of certain wooden objects that all end in some feathery dispay of the shot bird in a cartoon. Still believable complete interactible enviroments have come a long way... for a while i thought physics to be a closed road but now not so much
