Rimworld

Beginning to learn the joys of capturing bandits and harvesting their organs. This game never fails to bring you new kinds of joy.
Finally done with the campaign in Arkham Knight. Now I just need to mop up a couple of the "Arkham Episodes" and then I can uninstall this 55 gb thing and move on.
World of Warcraft.

Unlocked all the Allied races sans Kul'Tirans.
Because I'm a crazy person.
Warcraft and Low Magic Age
Played Binary Domain for almost 4 hours until the number of generic and anti-fun console port third person shooter tropes got too much. Saw the rest of the game on a Let's Play ("two best friends play"...) which was much more enjoyable than the game itself, because they pointed out how ludicrous many of game's plot points and events were. They sure put a lot of effort into the story, too shame they forgot to make the game fun.

Man, if that game is anything like other third person shooters, which I highly suspect to be the case, then I don't think I'll ever want to play another one. The way that you always needed to wait for orders (needed to wait for them even if you knew what they were, because you've replayed that section) or for another party member to open/kick in a door, but otherwise having to do all button presses yourself somehow, reminded me of how people describe Call of Duty. It's like an interactive rushed instruction manual, you never get to do your own thing or just stop and take in the sights. It's not like I'll ever even consider playing a CoD game when there are so many other fishes in the sea, but my experience with Binary Domain really sealed the deal.

Now playing Bioshock 2, which is much more my kind of game. Really liked Bioshock 1, going around and whacking people with a wrench, occasionally using a plasmid power for variety's sake. Sure, I'll get ordered around here as well, just like in Binary Domain, but no one will tell me to hurry up. Bioshock 2 has the decency of letting you do things at your own pace.
Dark Souls 1,2,3 - Playing all three at the same time; Kinda liking them overall in that order (1 > 2 > 3) as well at the moment. Love them all.

Metal Gear Solid 5: TTP - S.L.O.W.L.Y playing it, I can't for some reason do more than one or two missions at a time.

Doom Mods - Just been checking out some of the well known mods.
The Witcher 3. I avoided it for so long thinking that I wouldn't like it. So far I was vey wrong about that. I would like it more if character movement didn't feel so delayed. The only other game I have seen with character movement like this was Bloodlines. Very slidey feeling and odd. Other than that It seems top notch, and I don't see myself continuing playing other games until I have completed it.

The is an "alternate" movement option in... options. It makes the controls less tank-y, esp. turning, but looks less realistic.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption playing it for a second time, definitely a charming game, I love the atmosphere.

I have been using that option already. It helps a little, but movement still feels like molasses. It seems strange to me that the developers deemed the movement to be ok, given that everything else about the game seems to be very well done.
So there is no way to turn off the music in Doom 3?
Or is there?
Anyone?

That sucks.
Go to the main menu and click the EXIT GAME button.

Miracle of technology at work.

I tried The Witcher 3 with a controller tonight. Now it makes sense. It was developed around using a controller, not around using keyboard and mouse.
oblivion (for first time as i purchased it here, recently ).. but i excepted more. many restricted things, no flying, many things simplified to be convenient for developers despite being weird for player..
After almost destroying the Keyboard of Frustration over Tomb Raider 1, now relaxing with a combination of Salt & Kenshi.

Soon discovered the FOV slider in Salt, when sailing gave me motion-sickness :/
