I'm re-playing Gothic 1. The game is so excellent, that I want to play the game on every few years.
I chose a fighter in the first play, so I chose a mage this time.
It is a tradition of Gothic series (and somewhat Risen too) that becoming a mage is very difficult at the beginning of the game. I didn't spend any skill points, which got from level up, and kept the nameless hero very weak. but eventually, I became a believer in the sleeper sect (and their drag dealer too, lol). and I learned magic from one of their gurus and brought a fire bolt spell rune from a red magician in the old camp. Now in chapter 2, I'll go to the mine.

I'm playing the Amid Evil DLC and the Trine 4 DLC at the moment.
Started another playthrough of Wizardry 8.

Of course, I've already had a Cherry Bomb backfire and kill 3 of my characters. (I immediately reloaded.)
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. I'm near the end... years after starting it.
Forza Horizon 5
Baldur's Gate 3. The end part of Act 2, the game is fantastic but I'm so tired of it already. Finally managed to pull through my romance with Shadowheart.
Quake 2 and Black Mesa
Playing these games a lot lately:
-> Shadowrun: Hong Kong on Steam.
-> God of War 2018 on PS4.
-> Wasteland 2: DC on GOG (edited this WL2 line in on 09-24-2023).

Still some stuff I've still been juggling on and off:
-> Fallout 4: GOTY Edition from GOG.
-> Quake 2: Remastered on Steam.

Put aside, for now:
-> HELLGATE: London (Steam Edition) from Steam.
-> Remnant 1: From the Ashes - Complete Edition on Steam.
-> Yakuza: Kiwami on Steam.
-> NIER Automata: YORHA on Steam.
-> Far Cry 6 on UbiSoft Connect.
-> Lake on UbiSoft Connect.
-> Hard Reset: Redux from GOG.
-> Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishment from Epic (via Heroic).

I re-started Gothic 1 because the hero can only learn up to the circle 4 magic out of 6 and up to 100MP in the sleeper sect route. It would be intended to make a fighter/mage hybrid character but I want to be a pure mage. So I re-started the game, joined the old camp, and I am now in chapter 3.

By the way, as an avid Wizardry fan, I was tempted to buy the Wiz 1 remake. but I have a policy to buy only a completed game and not an early access game, so I wait until it will be at least on a heavy sale. Also, I rather like to play the original Apple ][ version, which I haven't played yet.
Since mid-August I'm into the Divinity games (I have 4 of them). I finished Divinity: Original Sin, and I'm into Divine Divinity. For all 4 it will be my second time, however this time I intend to play them according to their chronological order. So, now playing Divine Divinity, I actually know why Source has been tainted!
Recently got and tried the Wizardry remake, and I really like the music, but I think it's still too buggy for a serious playthrough.

Been recently playing Wizardry 8, having recently started over with a magic damage party.
Been playing some Evoland legendary edition which i only recently bought.
So did beat the 1st game in somehow 4 hours with 95% and a few finished.
Pretty bare bones game the first one, second seems much more interesting and am not that far yet, but these ever changing mechanics are quite interesting, did had to play a danmaku shooting game in it which i only probably survived due to using both of the potions, street fighter 2 section didn't give me any trouble. But it's mostly a zelda style action game which i like even tnough i never played any real zelda games.
Might happen that i am gonna finish it pretty fast if i am gonna play it so frequntly.

I actually have those games, and have watched a speedrun of the first game, but I haven't actually played either of them.
Trying out some 3DS emulation with Citra, mainly to play the Gen 6 and 7 Pokemon games with a controller for comfort reasons.

I'm also messing around with Wii U emulation. Looking for the title keys is a nuance, but it's great that I have a portable monitor for emulating the gamepad, so now I can see why Star Fox Zero is a bad game.

andysheets1975: Akka Arrh, the remake. Jeff Minter did a good job on this one. It's not quite like the original. It has the same elements but it's a bit more subdued. I was kind of amazed when I beat one level by only firing a single shot, but that's how the game works - you make one thing explode and if it's in the right place it causes chain reactions. It's like a really abstracted, trippy version of Missile Command. The original was so, and Minter of course just jacks that up as far as he can.

Not sure why this isn't on GOG, though, or why Atari's distribution here is so spotty (Steam has other games that are still missing here, and there are games on sale in the Steam summer sale that weren't during GOG's summer sale).
Thanks for in-depth response. dude theft wars now.gg
