Up to 80% off Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms, Lichdom: Battlemage, Serpent in the Staglands, and more!

There are two kinds of people in the world: those who believe in magic and those who choose to be boring. For magic is the enemy of mundanity, an agent of chaotic entertainment, and an integral part of our Weekly Staff Picks, which bring to the forefront some of the most skilled and celebrated Masters of the Arcane. So cast your rational precautions aside and let's follow them through that shimmering portal!

Cooldowns and spell memorizing have been the bane of many a spellcaster. But what if you weren't held back by such constraints, free to wield unlimited power, build your own devastating spells, and lay waste to the armies of darkness in first-person magic-blasting? Then you would probably be a mage of unique talent, thrown into Lichdom: Battlemage's brutal playground.

A labyrinthine Ziggurat full of terrible creatures and shiny loot is what stands in the way of your being official declared a wizard. And since you can't skip the trials, why not enjoy the heck out of them? Choose your perks, explore the randomly-created dungeons and magically disintegrate the enemy hordes with a combination of weapons and arcane powers.

Not even demons are impervious to the charms of an addictive action-RPG with loads of clickable loot and destruction. Plus, they have the power to possess legendary heroes and make them do their bidding, adding an extra layer of variety and replayability to this spellbinding journey through the ruins of Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms.

Let your crystal ball guide you through the Weekly Staff Picks we conjured up and p(l)ay your tribute to the powerful and unpredictable Masters of the Arcane. You will also find them dwelling in The Last Door, Serpent in the Staglands, 99 Levels to Hell, and even more occult places. The promo will last until February 05, 10:59 AM GMT.

Any opinions on

Lichdom : battlemage

Telepath Tactics
Runestone Keeper

?

(have the rest already or not interested)
Anyone find it odd Lichdom has such a high price and it gets discounted heavily when it does go on sale?

It looks like Weekly Staff Picks hit the quality (and quantity!) avenue again! Great promo!
Is Heretic Kingdoms: The Inquisition any good? From the screenshots, it looks similar to Icewind Dale, and hack n' slashes are always quite nice :)
Nothing for me in this promo. Money saved! :D

Very good game, beautiful graphics as you can see (fov is adjustable in game), solid controls, you can play in short bursts as you can save your progress before each level. If you like fast paced FPS, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Was hell bent on not spending any money online this month. Then Serpent in the Staglands appears in this promo and I'm forced to break that promise to myself. :) As if I don't have a huge backlog of unfinished RPGs already...
Wallet safe this time ...but whether is it :-) or...:-( can't really make up my mind

If you can stomach the graphics, it's actually a really nice game. I am hoping for the episode 2 of Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms (the sequel to Inquisition).

Blue guys, you may want to change that "up to 80%" for "up to 87%".

KInd of depends what you're expecting. It's well-made and all that but as it's a procedural rogue-like, you won't get the same "handmade" level design as in Heretic/Hexen (that's what I was looking for when I bought it...).
I'm the "boring" type GOG, so I pass
Your social staff needs to do a better job (like TET did)

Runestone Keeper
I like Runestone Keeper. At first you think it's very simple and mostly depends on luck, but once you've played for a while and have understood some core mechanics, you'll see that there is a lot of strategy involved. You will still need some luck to get some good loot, but I think that's a "problem" with many rogue-likes.

I also like that the runs are quite short and so it's a good game to play for some minutes or when you don't have enough time to start something more complex.
After looking all these over, I think I might add Runestone Keeper to my collection...
