Rich flavor, very low on calories.

Come for the beautifully drawn adventure games (like Deponia, The Pillars of the Earth, Memoria, Candle), stay for the involving strategy and RPG experiences with some action thrown in for good measure (think Shadow Tactics, Valhalla Hills, AER, The Long Journey Home).

The Daedalic Weekend Sale ends November 12th, 11pm UTC.

MarkoH01: I highly doubt that you really were able to get "all" for four dollars.

yogsloth: Yep. All 72 games for four dollars. I'm pretty sure.
Oh I am so sad I missed this.;)
"The Long Journey Home". High hopes, mixed reviews. Is it worth it?

Second question: why are some games windows-only, others windows+mac and a few windows+mac+Linux -- why the lack of consistency? (sales numbers?)
Nice sale but i'm saving my money for the winter deals .
I'm waiting for my salary to be deposited this Monday so I can buy a game of Daedalic. I liked the Deponia saga and I want to try its other games :)

50% off their present three month old flagship game, that's all kinds of selling out. But, yeah, I'll take it.
Just pointing out that I'm having a lot of fun with Bounty Train.

Didn't buy the DLC, though. I loathe the practice of high discount on main game low discount on DLC to mask the average discount on complete game.
Night of the Rabbit is a deligtful trip through fairytale land, but it has a serious case of moon logic.

So far it's buy here sell there, have the occasional RTS on the way (but mostly take a route to avoid it for now). And upgrade your train. It's Elite, on rails, in 2D. Or Sid Meier's Pirates, with predefined paths. Very been-there-done-that. The flavor is great, though.

Don't get the New West DLC. The currently much cheaper Trainium edition includes that DLC automatically. It just won't be marked as owned on GoG. Not sure why the developers did it that way but I can confirm it's included in the Trainium upgrade.
