I just thought I'd do a bit of cleaning before I left for work. I'm not interested in an additional full-time position. I'm quite busy enough as it is, thank you :-)
Not an additional position. GOG needs to authorize several regular users to ban accounts for spam. Not anything else, no matter how heinous / disgusting / illegal, just actual automated spam. And then the mods (who are paid GOG employees) can review the bans during their working hours.

P.S. Does anyone want to double check the subforums? 600+ forums are a lot to scan.

Sounds good as long as it's not abused. But who to select? Nomination alone probably won't do... But having someone who can deal with the issues in a quick manner would be nice. If there's 7-8 people then who are likely be on at a 3 hour block of time; I generally watch the general form more closely than the others so i wouldn't have noticed the witcher 2 one without being notified...

You can check the time of the last post in the full list of forums. "now" or "min" means there might be recently posted spam. (I checked, there's none left.)

There must be something that can be done about this...

Has anyone PM'd a blue? Maybe they haven't noticed because the threads keep getting deleted.
They're bound to be able to ban an IP or something that might help...
