Wishbone: What the hell is up with this guy? A human spammer?
Yes, noticed him yesterday

He really does look like he's human, and not a bot.
hmmm?

It would be great if he spammed the Half Life 2 forums on Steam. We can be sure HL3 won't come out if it is deleted. And I wonder how he typed the swastikas.
Do you n00bs not have a swastika key on your keyboards?

Hard to starboard?
Now they are innovating with tag team spamming, I guess this is a first for GOG forum but they blew it with the name KrishnaCon. ;)

Weird. It isn't a rep raising self responded question.

I doubt that they care about rep for these spamming accounts, but that would have been more authentic. :P

This looks kind of like the same thing, or at least like it might develop into the same thing: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/how_to_connect_these_2960

1. A brand new account, asking a question that is 100% unrelated to GOG or gaming in any way.
2. A slightly older, somewhat questionable account answering the question, including a link to another site.

Well, rep is required in order to post links, so it would actually make sense for spammers to try to acquire some.

Edit: Which brings up another oddity: In the thread I posted above, how did poster #2 post a link to an external site with a rep of -3? It was an hour ago, his rep can't have dropped 10 points in that span of time, can it?

You can work around the rep requirement and still post links, I know because I had negative rep for quite a long time initially but still posted links as well. It seems like they have also figured it out so they can continue spamming with new accounts.
