Out of curiosity, what is the point of this thread, yes, i know that is like an alarme for when the bots appear so my question is it for:

a) Blue ones to delete the posts/accounts

or

b) Community downvote + report the posts

Just asking because the last time a blue one posted here was in September so i'm curious if they even check this thread.

It's so we can report and delete them. If it's really bad the blues occasionally join in, but we haven't been too bad since the korean bot Spam Wars.

When it happened the first time it got us goggers asses in gear and organised us. Nowadays the click might be even stronger than the pen so that's why.

Oh... Is it sad that part of me was actually thought that someone was going to say "Even if the blue ones don't post here, it's actually them who delete the spam".

Sometimes they do (I think anyway, if it's really bad) but the community is usually so on the ball that all but the worst attacks are gone before they'd even notice.

Have there been any notable cases of legitimate posts (ideally posts that contain valuable information) that have been mistakenly deleted as spam because too many people reported it?
