rtcvb32: If they keep the spam to a otherwise useless/generic request, i think it's a good thing... Probably...

Although it's kinda funny :P Otherwise though, we know Abandonware probably will never get here because most of the companies and rights don't exist anymore. One example of a game i love is Xixit, which i played almost exclusively for the music.

Hmmm... Well at least spam is decently controlled for now...
no. the keyword is "abandonware". it attracts spam
Man the harpoons!
My reporting finger has been itchy lately. Time to murderize some spam threads.

Give them no quarter!!!
They're hitting the subforums now. , [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/neverwinter_nights_series#1435639891]Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, Witcher 2, and Witcher 3 are the ones I've seen hit so far, and if previous spam is any indication, it'll probably stay largely isolated to those.

Fortunately, the pace is slow enough that you can leisurely report them into oblivion. Nothing compared to the Great Spam War's onslaught.

EDIT: They're also hitting the other-language General Discussion forums.

It is? Just check the Community Feature Wishlist (nowadays called The Spam Lane or Spam 101 ;-p), scroll down and you'll find at least million and one spam wishes and new ones pop up every few hours. Most of them have link as title.

Not to mention the Forums are currently under heavy spam attack.

Oh fuck! And I thought that GoG did solve the spam problem. Well, this is Spam War II.

Fun... Temporary solutions are now effectively bypassed then...

The system needs an overhaul... but i doubt we'll get one.
3 Korean spam threads have shown up simultaneously on the main forum page.

A new spammer seems to have posted in a few non-spam threads. Here are the posts I found in need of flagging:
